Ubuntu Phone to include a terminal application

Last week it was announced the Ubuntu Phone operating system, a mobile platform developed by Canonical, will now come equipped with a default terminal app to allow users access to the full power of the Linux system via their phone. The development will take place through a wiki devoted to the platform’s core applications, such as; e-mail, calendar, clock/alarm, weather, file manager, document viewer, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. This is where developers will be able to begin sharing and discussing design ideas as part of the core apps project.
