Tizen tablet unveiled in Japan
Systena has launched the first Tizen based tablet which is specifically aimed at developers in Japan. The development kit is to help developers create tablet optimised apps in time for the upcoming launch of Tizen tablets.
The Tizen tablet comes with a 10-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) display. Powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A9 processor with 2GB of RAM. The tablet comes with 32GB inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded with microSD card. It runs on Tizen’s latest OS iteration, the Tizen 2.1. The tablet sports a 2-megapixel rear camera in addition to a VGA front-facing camera. It will come with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options, and be available in, Red and White.
The tablet is built specifically for app development and product demonstration. The company hasn’t publicly posted a price for the kit, but interested developers can request more information through the company’s website.
