Developers, have you ever thought you had the perfect application idea but just needed to get it in front of the right people to help you make it a reality? Of course you have! Now you have the opportunity to do just that with The Perfect Trip Fund Awards Contest 2014.
The Perfect Trip Fund Awards Contest is a competition to encourage innovation in the travel ecosystem and engagement with the Concur and TripIt APIs. This contest gives you, as a developer, the unique and rare opportunity to present your idea to major industry players and a large audience. If you are successful in convincing them you have the best solution to make the business traveler’s life better, you could win one of two $50,000 awards (in the form of convertible notes). The prizes will be awarded in two categories:
• The Best Travel-Related Innovation for Businesses
• The Best Travel-Related Innovation for Travelers
If you think you have what it takes, you can register for the contest here as well as find all of the details. The deadline for registration is 15 October, 2014. The finalists will be given the opportunity to pitch their idea at The Perfect Trip Devcon 2014. The Devcon will be a single day event held in San Francisco on 30 October, 2014. Attendees will include developers, entrepreneurs and travel industry leaders from around the globe. The purpose is to foster innovation in the business travel space and will have two tracks, Trends & Business and Programming & Design. So there’s something for everyone who attends as well as a full day of networking opportunities.
Catchy loves innovation and really likes being part of connecting businesses with developers and developers with opportunities, so we are making a special offer available to you, our readers, followers and friends.
