Social Media Manager - Catchy

Catchy is growing its marketing department and we’re searching for a talented Social Media Manager to join our team. We’re seeking a candidate that has experience running innovative social programs from initial strategy all the way through implementation. In this role you will work with multiple Catchy clients, managing social channels for some of the biggest technology companies in the world. 

What You Will Do

Working directly with Catchy’s Director of Marketing, you will be tasked with building and managing social media programs for several of our key clients. From creating monthly editorial calendars, to using marketing strategies to deliver brand messages in creative ways, the ideal candidate will be able to run all aspects of a modern social media marketing program. In this role you will:

  • Conduct monthly planning, creation and management of editorial calendars. 
  • Manage content creation, scheduling and posting on client accounts.
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology.
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Discord, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Work with client stakeholders to manage reactive triage and posting as required to support channel objectives. 
  • Manage social activations before, during and after events to maximize digital amplification. 
  • Develop analytics and reporting structures to provide insights on channel performance and optimizations. 
  • Work with Catchy’s wider marketing team to provide channel strategy recommendations for existing and potential clients, and internal Catchy marketing projects.

What You Will Bring

We are searching for a candidate that has experience working in both paid and organic social media with a B2B focus. The ideal candidate will have an interest in working in a fast-paced agency environment and a passion for technology.

  • 3-5 years of social media management at an agency, consulting firm or corporate enterprise
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field preferred
  • Preference will be given to candidates that have experience as a developer and the ability to code in common languages (JavaScript, Python,  HTML/CSS, etc).
  • Certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred
  • Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite and HubSpot
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
  • Understanding of B2B marketing strategy and execution
  • Experience with Excel and the ability to build client-facing reporting dashboards
