Microsoft is rumoured to be developing its own smart watch after talks with an undisclosed number of suppliers who have apparently been tasked with delivering components for a smartwatch-like device that supports touch input.
The range of smart watches already available in the market are shown to have several purposes, for example: Nike’s FuelBand measures physical activity, while others (such as Pebble) are intended to supplement functions of a smartphone, such as receiving text messages, taking photos or checking the weather.
However with the smart watch market proving to be a tough one to crack, we will have to keep a close eye of Microsoft to see if there is any truth in the rumours.
