Pinterest Web Analytics will be a free service initially but is expected to expand to offer premium features in the future, as it is thought to be laying the ground work before it begins to monetize the service for internet users. It will help publishers and content owners to identify which ‘pins’ on the service have come from their website. It will also allow businesses to see which pins get the most repins, who pins them, and what else people pin alongside them to tailor their website and Pinterest boards.
