In today’s Meet The Team, we hear from Bhargavi Thakker-Jones, Project Manager at Catchy. Bhargavi sheds light on her role in managing client accounts and ensuring the timely delivery of agency projects.

A graduate of the University of Bath, Bhargavi grew up in Mumbai and studied in Singapore for two years before moving to Bath, where she is currently based. As part of her responsibilities at Catchy, Bhargavi manages client relationships and oversees the planning and implementation of projects within the agency. She works to ensure that our clients are happy with the delivered work and that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Can you tell us about your role at Catchy?

I work as both a project and account manager at Catchy. My role involves looking at what our clients are hoping to achieve, working out how Catchy can help them, and ensuring our team has everything they need to deliver on our promises. I work to keep our clients and our team happy: be it through project briefs, delivery plans, or dad jokes.

Which Catchy value do you strongly resonate with and why? (Collaborative, Fluid, Inclusive, Accountable)

Collaborative. I work with incredibly intelligent people from diverse backgrounds - I’m learning new things all the time! Working with our internal and client teams to devise and execute creative solutions is exciting and it wouldn’t be possible without the collaborative ethos at Catchy.

What do you enjoy about working with Catchy?

Whether it’s a hot debate on the merits of TikTok or a discussion about the growth of GenAI, conversations at Catchy are never boring. It’s undoubtedly my favorite part of working here.

Do you have any advice you would give to your younger self?

Probably something I’ve been telling myself since university: It’s ok to not know where you want to end up, but it’s important to find fun things to do along the way. Thinking about the big questions in life can be quite daunting and, in my experience, never leads to anything except more questions. Focusing on the next fun thing I want to do helps focus my energy in a more productive way - and allows the big questions to answer themselves.
