A week after Google Reader was axed, Google has released Google Keep: an app which allows users to keep checklists, voice notes and annotate photos. It is expected to directly compete with Evernote and it’s 15 million active users.
Google Keep – ‘save what’s on your mind’ is an app that does exactly that, it quickly captures what’s on your mind and with everything instantly available on your devices (desktop and mobile), you can easily recall it wherever you are.
But how will it be received after Google lost the trust of Reader users who had depended on the service for several years only for it to be discontinued.
Take a look at the app in action.
