The new app, launched yesterday, allows iOS users to take advantage of the Distimo suite of tools enabling mobile app publishers to track downloads, purchases, rankings, revenues, wherever they are. Leaderboard rankings are included in order to give the app a broader appeal.
The app currently requires at least a free Distimo account, and for app developers using its analytics service, it will allow them to see both their own app data, as well as competing app intelligence data. This includes the above-mentioned metrics, plus, ranking and reviews, across all major app stores like Apple’s iOS App Store, Google Play, Amazon’s Appstore, Samsung Apps, Windows Phone Store, BlackBerry World and Nokia Ovi Store.
App publishers using Distimo AppIQ can also view premium transactional data including the daily download and revenue volumes of any app worldwide, to gain competitive market intelligence. They can then track their own app’s performance next to those from the others in their same space.
