Catchy is expanding its consulting team and we are seeking an experienced Senior Developer Marketing Strategist to join our team of consultants. We’re looking for a candidate who excels in user-centric thinking and complex problem-solving, with a proven track record of creating effective B2B and B2D marketing strategies with demonstrable results. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creative thinking and analytical skills, enabling them to develop data-led strategies that align with our clients' strategic objectives and their users’ needs.
What You Will Do
As a Senior Strategist, you will report to our Head of Consulting and will be responsible for leading the delivery of strategic work for our clients. This will include conducting primary and secondary research, identifying industry best practices, and translating research findings into actionable strategies. You will collaborate closely with our agency teams (creative, marketing, content) to ensure strategic alignment, communicating our strategic perspectives and recommendations effectively.
You will lead strategic workstreams covering the following areas:
- Crafting developer-centric value propositions and messaging
- Optimizing website user experience (UX) for technical audiencesAuditing developer programs across technical content, events, devrel, marketing, portals, and community activity
- Identifying strategic recommendations based on Catchy’s custom social listening reports and other data sources
- Developing content strategies for technical and marketing content
- User journey mapping
- Website and web page wireframing and messaging
- Creating paid media, social, and community engagement strategies
- Defining KPIs, implementing tracking, and delivering data-led reporting
- Conducting competitor analyses and industry deep-dives
- Providing budget recommendations, optimizing pipeline efficiency, and suggesting channel split strategies
What You Will Bring
We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in conducting research and leveraging insights to develop impactful developer marketing programs. You should have a strong understanding of the developer experience, tools, and ecosystem as a whole. Your skill set should include qualitative and quantitative research methods, industry and competitor analysis, customer journey mapping, and the ability to define KPIs at both campaign and organizational levels. Experience in go-to-market strategies across websites, content, and marketing channels is essential. Interest and familiarity with technology markets and industries, such as API integrations, artificial intelligence, machine learning, web and mobile development, blockchain, and web3, is highly desirable.
