Following several weeks of unavailability due to an “intruder” accessing the developer site server on July 18th, Apple intends to restore the majority of its downed developer services this week. “We plan to reinstate most of the remaining services this week: Xcode automatic configuration as well as access to license agreements, TSIs, program enrolments, and renewals in Member Centre,” Apple stated in an e-mail that went out to developers on Monday morning.
Developers are still able to access iOS and OS X betas, view pre release documents and watch videos from Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) sessions just as they could before the security breach.
Apple has also promised that it will be performing an “overhaul” of its developer systems, including security updates and a rebuilding of the company’s database.
iOS developers will soon be able to return to business as usual.
