App of the week: JUST EAT (Android)

App of the week: JUST EAT (Android)

JUST EAT, the popular online takeaway food delivery service that offers 15,000 restaurant menus to 13 countries, has now launched its own JUST EAT app on Android (previously only available on iOS).

The app allows you to search by postcode to find dozens of local restaurants in your area, then you can choose your meal and pay by cash (on delivery) or card (online). Alternatively you can just log in to your JUST EAT account to use the saved card feature to save time.

You’d think with 15,000 restaurant menus available it would be hard to navigate your way around the app but with the option to filter your search by location, cuisine type and user rating, the menus are presented in a clear layout.

The JUST EAT app is a great way of ordering food, and fast, it helps you decide what food you want to eat and where to order it from. This saves a lot of faff when trying to find out which cuisines are available to you locally. The most useful feature of this app however is that each restaurant has a user rating (out of five stars), this is very helpful when you’re in an unfamiliar place and want to find the best fish and chips (for example) takeaway around. It is equally as helpful if you want to try out something new at home but not sure where the best place to order from is.
